Bakeup Beauty – Shopify Collabs Program: Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Bakeup Beauty ("we," "us," "our") affiliate and collaboration program (the "Program"), operated through Shopify Collabs. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") represent a binding legal agreement between Bakeup Beauty and you (the "Affiliate," "you," "your").

By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you disagree, you may not participate.


2. Program Enrolment and Eligibility

To participate in the Bakeup Beauty affiliate program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Application Affiliates must apply through our portal on the Shopify Collabs platform. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion to ensure alignment with our brand values.

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

  • Active Presence: You must maintain an active and public profile on your stated social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest). Your content and promotional methods must comply with all applicable laws and platform terms of service. If you have your website/blog or a partnership with another website, you can promote your affiliate link if you get authorization in writing from Bakeup Beauty.

 

3. Affiliate Responsibilities and Content Guidelines

As a Bakeup Beauty Affiliate, you agree to the following:

  • Brand Representation: You represent our brand and must maintain a positive and respectful tone when discussing Bakeup Beauty. All promotions should be ethical and align with our brand identity.

  • Authenticity: All content featuring Bakeup Beauty products should be authentic and honest. We encourage your unique creative voice.

  • Disclosure: You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with Bakeup Beauty in all promotional content, in compliance with all relevant advertising guidelines (e.g., FTC guidelines).

  • Content Creation: You agree to create and share content featuring Bakeup Beauty products according to the agreed-upon schedule or at least once per month to remain an active affiliate.

4. Commission and Payment Terms

Your compensation is based on the following structure:

  • Tracking: Commissions are earned on valid sales generated through your unique affiliate link, which is provided by the Shopify Collabs platform. Sales are tracked using a 30-day cookie.

  • Commission Rate: You will earn a 10% commission on net sales, excluding taxes, shipping, and returns. Commissions are not paid on self-referrals.

  • Payouts are processed every month on the 8th of the following month.

  • Payment Threshold: A minimum balance of $20 must be reached before a payout is issued.

  • Refunds and Commissions will be reversed for any orders returned or charged back within our 30-day return period.


5. Promotional Restrictions

Affiliates must adhere to the following promotional rules:

  • Prohibited Activities: Affiliates may not engage in misleading advertising, spam, or impersonate the Bakeup Beauty brand. Affiliates can’t promote their affiliate link on any Discount Codes Website. 

  • PPC Bidding: You are prohibited from bidding on Bakeup Beauty’s branded keywords in any pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns without written consent from Bakeup Beauty.

  • Approved Assets: Affiliates may only use approved marketing materials and unique referral links from Bakeup Beauty.

6. Termination

  • Either you or Bakeup Beauty may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause.

  • We reserve the right to terminate your account for violations of these terms, unethical practices, prolonged inactivity, or any actions that may damage our brand's reputation.


7. Program Modifications

Bakeup Beauty reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program and its Terms at any time. 

We will notify affiliates of any significant changes, and your continued participation in the Program signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
