The palette contains both eyeshadows and pressed pigments. Eyeshadow shades are safe for use anywhere, including the immediate eye area. Pressed pigments (shades 1-pink, 2-light pink, 5-purple) are not intended for use around the immediate eye area but can be used elsewhere on the face or body, such as temples, cheeks, or brows.

• You can apply the shades with a brush or your fingertips, Jo recommends a finger tip application to press color on for best color payoff, then using brushes to blend the edges.
• Eyeshadow shades are versatile for any part of the eye. Jo recommends using any single color as a colorwash all over the eye to start your experimenting with pastel shades.
• For a soft pastel haze use alone, but for more pigment color intensity apply ontop of a light cream shadow for extra punch!
